Do Lactaid Supplements work?

Lactaid milk is exactly like regular milk, and comes in skim, 1%, 2% and whole milk - so get the strength that you like best. Dairy Ease is another brand. I've used the regular Lactaid tablets (never seen the chewables) and they work pretty well, if you take 2 of them right before you drink the milk. Breyer's makes a great Lactose Free Natural Vanilla ice cream. BTW: most lactose intolerant people CAN eat yogurt, because of the bacteria in it..... 8th Continent soy milk is good in vanilla or chocolate too (plain is too sour) - I like it much better than Silk.
