Question about a party for a teen .?

so im having a new years party. adn im having it in either an under 21 club. or a firehall/big banquet room type thing. its goin to be like a dance party type thing. but ive never thrown or been to a party like it. so what are some ideas of things i could do? or like food to serve? i like the colors black white and silver for new years so i will porbably have that in there. but im a teenager so it has to be like non childish things to do. i am a girl but there are gonna be boys and girls there. also since im the planner. what should i wear? i want it to be nice but not to fancy.. thankss you.
