Inspiron-530 PSU? (looking to get new vid card sorry if question sounds dumb help please :D )?

Your computer can take that card since it has a PCIe x16 slot. However, it's almost certain that Dell saved themselves a bit of cash by putting a PSU in it that's too weak to handle more than the computer would use in it's original state - ie without a graphics card. You should look at getting at least a 550W PSU. A 550W or 650W PSU will do the job fine, even a 500W is probably ok. Make sure that you also buy an extra fan or two for your case, to improve the ventilation. In this section of Yahoo Answers don't be surprised if someone suggests that you need a PSU that can deliver a megawatt or two, some people are very arrogant.
