Gay marriage ban proposition put on Calif ballot in November; what are your feelings?

I don't believe Gay marriages should be allowed anywhere, the purpose of marriage is to bond a man an women together. Now if two same couples want to be bonded for life and have the tax breaks and other rights granted to married couples they should be able to attain it; however, I am opposed to using the term marriage for it because it just does not seem right, they should settle for civil unions.
