Explanation about this inquiry?

Is there a record that an Asian Pope was elected? kind of confusing because how come Catholicism was founded in Asia (Israel to be exact) by our Lord Jesus Christ, and yet now Israel is an Arab place. and all of the Pope's were mostly Italian.. Now, the Center for Catholicism is Vatican.. I'm not against on anything, I'm just wondering how did that happen. You yourself might be curious..
