I heard my son being yelled at from the parking lot inside the studio by Judge Judy? What to do?

My nine year old son got in a fight at school with another youngster and my son accidentally hurt the other young boy. Anyway, situation was taken to court and I didn't want to be on television so only my wife and son were in the courtroom and I was out in the parking lot grabbing a smoke and heard Judy's screams at my son all the way from the Sunset Boulevard parking lot. Each time I heard her screams I heard what sounded like roars of laughter. Anyway, my wife said she wasn't allowed to say anything and my son was the one who dealt with Judy the entire time and now has been crying and silent all day. What to do?
